This show is the most understated piece of funniness ever to reach the small screen.

There is definitely no trace of Captain Kirk in Boston Legal. Denny Crane has got to be the best character that William Shatner has developed. Even bad boy James Spader that I had on my MUST DO LIST in the 80's is nowhere to be found. Instead, the chemistry between these two characters, and the humorous writers involved in the show, it just makes me shake my head and say

CAN THEY SAY THAT ON NATIONAL TV?

I do hope that when I become senile in my old age, that I at least remember, that I will need my balcony space at the end of each day.

It is a warped sense of belonging and friendship. You have to see an episode to understand this.
