It's definitely getting better.
The Discount Diva has a new look. Yey! Not only that, for those of you who have been ragging me on having decent logos on my website, you all would be so proud of me.
I have finally learned how to do banners and logos properly. And the redesign for all my existing sites are done. So maybe now I can expand into other fun, fun stuff....
I am designing a forum this week as a compliment to
The Designer Diva. No clue on how to go about doing that. But I am sure I'll figure it out somehow.

Jennifer Love Hewitt on Ghost Whisperer - Would love to take home her clothing stylist for the tv show! All the sexy outfits. Wow. I would be happy watching this show mute just to check out the fashion.

My sister Rosie just sent me pictures of their trip to last Vegas during the Christmas holidays. I haven't seen my youngest sister Jaz or her son Rashid in awhile and he's grown to be just a beautiful, beautiful boy.
Rosie says that he looks a little bit like me when were younger. Jaz is going to start to have to shoo the little girls away from him. He is just so darn cute.....
I need to plan sometime to visit Los Angeles soon. I can't wait to see them!

Music that automatically plays on blogs.
What's with that? I guess non-midi music can be classified as a-okay, but really, these should be banned on blogs. Have you ever tried going to another post on the same blog, or refreshed your screen while still there? The music starts over again from the beginning. It's quite horrific. It looks like I am not the only who feels that way about it.
Canadutch has started BAM! - Bloggers Against Music. So, if you are up for this cause, join their group and get a blog banned. Their list is growing. If you play music on your blog automatically, you might want to check if they have you listed in the BAM! offender section.
Clocks on blogs.
Why do people post clocks on their blogs anyway? I've seen some cool looking clocks, and those annoying one that talk and say the time verbally when you click on it. Then, there are those that count down to something. Maybe the time the blogger will be back blogging. I don't know. Is that so that we know that you are sleeping, and that if you don't respond back to our messages right away, we will know that you are sleeping? I don't get it.
Spammers who hide at Blogger.
Thank God for the US Government banning internet gambling because that cut down all of our spams to half. But I have found the coolest way to get back to these spammers that hide at Blogger. You know, the ones that put up fake sites so that they can post stupid sex comments on your site. They seem to frequent the same post over and over again, so I decided to leave my own post message on the same post encouraging my readers to click on the spammers link to their website and to make sure to Flag This Site As Objectionable. They haven't come back since. So, a word for spammers out there - pay to advertise. Click on my performancing banner. Anything else is pure waste of time. You think that one minute it took to click and paste generated you revenue? What were you thinking????

More free templates and template designers added to
Finding the Right Template For Your Blog .
Notice the new layout of the ItemPage / Permalink of each post? I thought it was time for a tweak and a revamp. I kind of like it better. Post, comments and ads have been moved around to allow for better reading and navigation.
Those who keep up with this blog, you probably have noticed a couple of icons and widgets come and go. Linkreferral.com turned out to be a bust for me. It didn't last more than a week on my sidebar. I also took out the SEO Chat from the ItemPage. I had problems with customization and you know me, if it is just 1px off, I don't like it. At all. That one also had to go.
What's new? I just added on the sidebar column the Performancing widget. If you are so inclined to advertise on this blog,
The Designer Diva, or
The Bikini Body Diet, please feel free to do so.
Hmmm, what else? I think that's it. I am dying to get some sleep....
Soon to be famous
reality tv rockstars Ted and his PayPerpost crew moves in to their new diggs. There is so much drama. So much suspense......
Will they make the move on time? Will the internet get hooked up for their big move? And why is a painter standing on a $700 chair made of beautiful mesh fabric? Did Ted remember the name of his radio ad representative? What's with Ted's toy collection and did the bobbleheads make it to his new office? Love the keyless door entry - is that to keep all of the reality tv crashers out?
Watch and find out what happens!
Of course, Ted saves the day again. Is there anything that man can not do??

I tossed and turned all night long. I fell asleep. Woke myself up because I just kept on muttering nonesense stuff. In fact, my crazy mind was writing this crazy post halfway by 6 in the morning. It's not that my mind is restless, it just has too many words and ideas going on that it just will not shut itself long enough for me to fall asleep. Pretty soon I'm gonna have to change the description of this blog to - The Imaginary Diva on Sleepless Nights.....
I know I'm allergic to sleeping. Maybe I've got a phobia that I have been ignoring way too long. I know it's not anxiety that bring this on. I mean, what am I to be anxious about? I wake up, take a shower, sit on my computer at home, remember to eat from time to time. And that's pretty much how my daily life goes.
I always get like this during exam time in uni or right before a big pitch or sales presentation. My mind likes to repeat the same information over and over again until it finally knows that I can do it 100% right. Oh, well.
If anyone has got a cure for all this craziness. Let me know. I've done yoga, meditaion, and even sleeping pills. Nothing works. I just need the words to go away. You know what I mean?

I have so many things to do now that I have to work..... This Christmas holiday has spoiled me rotten. I had enough time to catch a couple of movies that I have been wanting to see - Bride & Prejudice and Vanity Fair. I even saw two full length Scooby Doo Adventures - Aloha and Curse of the Mummy. Now, it's like, do I have to go back to work?
I only had a couple of hours sleep last night because Lem decide to drag me Boxing Day shopping out in Langley. Good thing that folks that live in this part of the Fraser Valley were not as gungho as their shopping counterparts in Vancouver. When Lem and I left the malls at about 11 this morning, there were still a lot of parking spaces left.
I can't believe I was at the mall at seven this morning!
There were not a lot of good sales. The local news network say that 2 million canadian dollars are going to be spent today - 25 million in British Columbia. I really think it's because that prices are not really sale prices. There were not a lot of 50% offs. They were more like buy 1 and get the second half off. Why do I need two boots??? Anyway, Lem and I have decided that next year bargain hunting of this kind will have to be done during US Black Friday. When items go on sale, they really go on sale. We're just going to have to forego canadian boxing day from now on.
So, I have been sleeping since I got back, and just woke up. I have so much to do. I don't even know where to start.....
Did everyone a good holiday?

Can you believe it is already Christmas??
This season has come and gone so quickly. In the next week or so people will be taking down their trees and every one will be preparing to spend their hard earned money on Valentine presents.
So, have you been good or naughty this year? I hope Santa was taking notes. With Lem, it's always fun to see what he comes up with..... Whether you've been good or bad this year, I am sure you are getting a black whip from him. And if you ask nicely, it might come with a matching handcuff..... I can't wait to see what he got me. Apparently, he had to order it from ebay. Another diamond ring perhaps? I think I am getting spoiled rotten.
Whatever everyone is planning for Christmas, I hope you all keep safe. Don't drink and drive. And Don't drink and table dance.
Here's a feel good tune for the holidays....

They are giving away HP Cameras and I desperately want, want one. They are now posting the winners on the blog. So far, Ana-Maria has one one. I know they have more hidden in their back closet. I could still be in the running. You know that I will be checking their blog on the hour, every hour. Give me, Give me! If only I could do posties.....
I do hope someone from PayPerPost is going to blog about Ted - now, I speak for the rest of the womankind out there - is he single??

I wrote a recent comment code that works for Blogger!!!!! Yeah baby! This is the first one I have seen floating around that does not use an RSS Aggregator or JSON. Check out my sidebar under Recent Comments on my
home page. If you are in the Post Page, you will not find the link.... I have it turned off.
And how did I do it? It's just basic implementation of Blogger template tags. I told myself I was crazy by trying to figure it out tonight. But when I get something in my head, wild horses will not be able to stop me until the code works. The hacks that are available out there are very few and not very good, and not so easy to customize and implement on your blog without having to know javascript implementation. I just had to find the right combination. I just couldn't believe that it worked. Blows my mind away.....
So, I can't give it away just yet as I am trying to see what bugs will come up..... If you want to know when it's released, you need to sign up for my RSS feed or newsletter!
Ciao!

My mother and sister Rosie took off for Las Vegas earlier this week. And my sister Jaz in California is taking time off from busy motherhood to fly there also. I can't believe I actually said no. So, while they are off taking in the shows, sightseeing and gambling, I am stuck in cold, dreary Vancouver.
My only consolation is that the winds and snow have gone. I see on the news that the front has hit Denver and the British Columbia Interior. I can not believe I even contemplated moving to Alberta. I would never last a winter because Lem would ship me back to Vancouver in no time. It seems to me that in my old age I've developed a mood disorder :)
Can you believe that in the next week, Christmas would be over? People will be in the process of taking down their fir in the living room and preparing for the new year? I was thinking that 2006 has passed by so quickly, but then, come to think of it, this first decade of the millennium is going quite fast. It' already 2007! Where did time go?
Has everyone even finished shopping for Christmas?

Lately, I have been hanging out with Lem and his buddies. Drinking Beer and playing drinking party games.
Kids, dont try this home.
And folks, never drink and drive.
Okay, now back to my story.....
I remembered clearly back in university and my party years, when my friends and I played drinking games it always involved people losing their clothes, or at least getting twisted with other disorderly (ahem) drunks playing a board game on the floor.
Well, Lem and his friends like to play games like the Century Game and Let's-Count-The-Dice. With the Century Game, you have to drink 1 shooter of beer every minute until you reach 100 shots. If the beer gut doesn't get to you first, the gas bubbles will. Let's-Count-The-Dice is a name I've made up for this other game they play - you roll 6 dices together, call out a number between 0 - 100 and make the dice numbers match the number that has been called out. A lot of minus and plus, and squared to the power of four bit. Ach, that makes my head ache just trying to explain it. Do it while you have been drinking, and it's sure to pass you right out. Thinking too hard is never, ever good for you.
So, to commemorate this holiday season, I have come up with some fun, let's-not-tell-anyone-about-it-tomorrow games:

Yes, Yes, Yes! I want my HP Digital Camera and Photo Printer!
Ted, I am jinxed when it comes to cameras.
Three years ago I lost my mom's digital camera during a holiday in Miami. I really do not know how it got to the roof of my rental van, but there it was, discovered after a freak rain storm. Not even the energizer bunny could have revived it.
I lost my sister's camera last year at her company's award night and missed THE shot. I seem to have remembered last seeing it in between the tequila shots. Or was it the lemon drops?
Then I almost stepped on my fiance's HP super duper slimming digital camera - my all time
digital photography favourite. Really, it was just a tiny scratch. What's the big deal?
Just bad karma. No one wants me around their digital cameras anymore, not even to take one group picture during dinner. *sigh* And as for me, it's beginning to be - when a digital camera crosses my path, I turn around and use the other road. *another big sigh*
Help! I am developing a phobia, Ted!
In order to conquer this fear, I need to confront my fear. But how can I do that when no one wants to ever lend me their digital cameras.
You have got to send me one. Oh, and do not forget to send the photo printer too while you are at it.....
I promise to send you a photo of our first month anniversary together!

It's been a horrible 2 weeks. Global warming is really taking a toll on us. Vancouver gets rain. Rain, and more rain. But not winds. California blew over their Santa Ana's our way. It is so bizarre. We had about four wind storms - last one was last night. It managed to knock our power, and internet connections three times. I am so glad Lem bought those shakable flashlights, and we are in the process of buying portable generators. It is not nice being in the dark.....
But this morning, it looks like Old Man Winter decided to move on. It is bright, sunny and mildly cold. I am thinking of just being lazy today and not working on the computer. Maybe go for a drive with Lem and take a look at more properties. Perhaps last minute Christmas shopping......
The Helium experiment went well, I now have money in the bank. And I made it to front page! Yeah, baby...... So, go check me out under the
dating tab on the front page. Pick up my story on Helium and write a story on top of it. I have only one writer so far under the article. Be adventurous and write a dating article please..... I seemed to have problems logging on IE, so use Firefox instead.
I spent the night last night with Lem at a 24 hour internet cafe because we were expecting to lose power and internet. We got home about 4am and I had so much coffee I was flying off the walls. I woke up at 11am (which is pretty early for me) and still feel wired up. Does anybody have a recommendation for coffee hangover? I've eaten, taken a shower, and I still feel shaky.
I am going to go and watch Korean movies with Lem's mom. I am taking the day off.

I am not a big fan of watching the same movie twice in a lifetime.
But wow, I really dig Denzel Washington, and I can't remember anytime I have ever missed a movie release. Just for him, I wouldn't mind taking the same movie more than once. Yes, I did pay each time...... He just knows how to pick his roles, and his cast.
I am sure we are going to see more of newcomer Paula Patton eventhough IMDB has not reported anything upcoming. Val Kilmer was also part of the spectacular cast. A note to Val: Just because you want character roles, doesn't mean that you have can't look sexy. Oh Batman of old wherefore art thou??
Denzel's new movie is in production - American Gangster, rumored to be with Russell Crowe, Hugh Hefner (what? what? porn's not paying anymore?) and Cuba Gooding. It is still in production and set for release in 2007.
Can't wait.....

I have realized in this little blogging experiment that I have started since May 2006, that the power of linking or be linked by powerful sites is an awesome thing.
You are probably thinking that I am talking about google page ranking or being linked by a PR6 blog. But I am not. What is the advantage of having a PR6 blog? Or being on the first page on a Google's search page? Does this guarantee your blog or website traffic? Does this increase your page ratio view per visitor?
The biggest visitor driver I have experienced is being written in an article by another website about an article I have written, which in turn gets picked up by another site and expanded upon. Sounds complicated? The concept is very similar to a meme, but in a way different. It is very nice to know that the time I spent scratching my head pondering the next sentence, eventually did make sense.
The most I have encountered was an influx of over 100,000 visitors in a time frame of 48 hours. During that time, visitors average 4.5 views during their stay. Google revenues went off the radar and it also had a direct affect to my affiliate advertising. Til today, I still have visitors coming through from the links.
A very big thank you and a merry christmas to:
The Runway Scoop for finding Designer Cases for your Cell Phone and Ipod.
Packaging Diva for picking up Bling H20.

home insurance. As you all know, we have been preparing for that big step in our life - securing our own property.
Since then, I've had The Thrifty Scot on my Google RSS Reader for any new updates. If you are like me, not-so-money-savvy, he has fantastic advise and cool tips on how to handle your personal finance from

I have been hearing so much buzz about Agloco from everyone and anyone preaching on the virtues, not to mention the money, you can make. I signed up some time ago, and I thought I'd take it out for spin.
The first thing I looked for when I join these internet schemes is how they are going to pay me. Will it be Paypal? Or will it be by check? Is there a $$ requirement I need to meet before payout? Well, there is absolutely no information on their website. That is not a good sign.
On reading further,
The AGLOCO Viewbar™ is currently in limited beta testing and is not yet available for download. We expect that it will start to be available to download in several weeks. It will be released to Members in the order in which Members signed up. For now, we ask you to build the community, because both you and AGLOCO make more if you grow the community.
Are they for real? So, they want me to promote a product that is not in existence yet. Just go ahead and get as many referrals as possible so that when it's my turn to be able to download the viewbar release, I will make money? Oh, gotcha.
Is it just me that's thinking there is something wrong with this concept?
If this isn't spam, then I do not know what is. No wonder they had to devote a whole page on their anti-spamming policy.
When emailing people about AGLOCO, ensure that you have established a previous relationship with that individual. Making reference to your previous relationship will ensure that your referral email is received well. For example, “You are receiving this email from Business Today, the opt-in mailing list you have subscribed to for information on business opportunities.”
What a bunch of crap.
Christmas Holidays are here and it is the perfect time to get together with the family. So, while you are sitting at the christmas table.... discuss your travel holidays in 2007!
There are so many things to consider when planning a vacation. Where do you want to go? Are you taking the whole family? Or just the two of you? Or will it be with the girls only.... I am sure there are many deals you can pick up on
Hotel Reservations anywhere in the world.
I know you are thinking the same thing. We all want to get away. Have some fun. My advise to you - Plan it now, Book it now, because
HotelReservations.com is going to save you up to 70% off your holiday! It just can not get any better than that - travelling at a good price, whenever and wherever.
Next year I plan to go somewhere nice and sunny for winter. I have just had it with Vancouver's unpredictable weather and its penchant for rain and snow. I need to find a beautiful beach where I can tan in peace. With internet access so I can let the world know how much fun I am having. Somewhere in the Caribbean perhaps. Nassau, St. Thomas, or even Curacao? Hotel rates starts at $69.00 for late October 2007! At those rates I can afford to stay longer than a week! Or I may never come back....
Thursday, December 14, 2006
After surfing through Blogflux I noticed some really, really cool blogs that were not Blogger or WordPress. Some had some really nice rounded corners, splashy template designs and those ever-coveted three column templates. I decided to do some research on what other alternatives there are in the Blogging World.
Since there are so many other choices, I thought I'd check out one at a time instead of getting an overloaded with information. My small itty bitty brain might have problems digesting..... Plus sometime before 8AM I should really try to get some sleep.
HELIUM
I've heard about Helium before since the buzz on them is making money. How can I not? Isn't that what we are all trying to achieve on line? It claims "Sure, Helium is an outlet for the writer in all of us, but it is also a place where you can earn not only the adoration of your peers, but money, too! We want you to be part of the success here. Helium shares a portion of revenue with you. Every article you write is an asset which can earn you revenue---into perpetuity. The better you write, the higher you rank, the more your reward."
So, I couldn't wait to get started. I have developed a great strategic plan for sites like Helium. Ask me sometime what my strategy is. Maybe I'll part with it...
Registration is very wasy and I posted eight articles right away. A couple of things that I didn't like right away: 1 - Articles are set on a pending status and will be verified within a couple of hours or a couple of days before activation; 2 - I can not use external links on my post and you all know how I'm always itching to link out on almost anything; 3 - No affiliate referral code.
It says that once I reach $25.00 I can request a payout through Paypal. I still don't understand though how I can make money through them. Maybe it's the wee hours of the morning and I need my sleep bad (bad, bad) but no tabs would give me payscale heaven. There is a 120x600 Google adsense ad on the left sidebar and another 120x600 affiliate ad on the right sidebar. How much money can you really make? And how much is your portion after Helium takes theirs?
I guess this looks like we are going to have to wait to see.

Life has a funny way of saying "This Way Please - The Red Door is not for you".
Sometimes we just need to slow down and pay attention to the signs. Going through the Red Door could get you the consolation price. Which might not be bad at all. But why settle for a consolation price when you can hit the jackpot?
You are all probably wondering why I am mumbling on about this at 4 o'clock in the morning. I didn't know I was going to write this SMELL THE ROSES bit, but I've just been doing some reflection.
That, and because I have nothing else better to do. We are still having electricity problems and it's causing me unending grief because it would go off in the middle of my favourite shows. And you all know, how much I hate watching re-runs. I will never be able to tune in to the same episode even if I only watched half of it. Oh, well.....
This is why, I have decided to redirect my efforts (though a tad bit misguided) into talking about life, karma, red doors and crossroads. Ya di da di da..... I think I'll run the same topic over at
The Designer Diva. Go and visit over there to see if I was able to make sense of all these crazy thoughts.
Access to the internet is readily available anytime and anywhere. Even kids nowadays are so internet savvy that they probably know more than I do in navigating the world wide web. We all know that the world wide web is not always about sugar and spice.
As a responsible parent, it is your duty to know what your children are doing on line. What sites are they visiting? Are they posting on forums and about what? Who are their online friends and what do they chat about? I would say that for the security of your children, installing a
computer monitoring software is a necessity. They take the worry away and gives you peace of mind knowing that it is as easy as checking your email to find out what your kids are doing on line when you are not watching. Don't be left in the dark....

I am sitting at the same internet cafe since about 3PM yesterday afternoon. Surrey got hit by the wind storm and I woke up with our emergency battery pack shrilling like there was no tomorrow because of the power spikes.
We lost electricity and internet at the same time. So, Lem and I had to go look for another place to work. Rain or Snow, stuff needs to get done. But we have no access to our computer stations at home since we still have no electricity.
The storm is expected to stick around until Wednesday and I hope that having no electricity is the most we have to worry about. I saw our neighbor's fence fly off along with the swing set in his backyard.
I've been rebranding
The Designer Diva and I am now offering free reprints of my articles. I've been browsing through The Imaginary Diva to see if there are any I can use for free reprints, and I just realized that this blog used to be so much fun. With lots of crazy pictures and stupid, crazy stuff. When did it get so boring? When did I get so so boring.
I guess I have just been caught up with blog tutorials, post ads, and talking about Lem all the time :) ..... I must do better.....

My sleep has been so screwed up because I have been hanging out with Lem and his business partners for the last week and a half. They've been meeting at ungodly hours like 11PM. They sit, they chat, they have coffee, and then chinese food. By the time I am home, it's like 5AM. So, I have been waking up at the weirdest times and last night I couldn't get any sleep until 6 in the morning.
I feel kind of odd, like I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Lem just steers clear away from me because I've been very grumpy lately because of that. He had to nudge me earlier today and tell me that I was watching Star Trek Voyager in French. I don't speak French, nor understand French. And I hate re-runs. I can't belive I actually sat through a re-run episode in French for about half an hour.
I think it was also the lack of sleep that made me design
The Designer Diva in ghastly pink. Now, that I have seen the light of day. It has been re-designed again. An additional 8 hours was spent of my time. Mainly because I was going to learn how to make that darned rounded corners, or die trying. It's now pale yellow and green with blue, and white, and pink..... Definitely couldn't get away from the pink. It's similar to the concept of rice for us Asian folks. Everything we eat, we need to have rice. Everytime I design, there's always that pink. Oh well.

Now, why do they have to go and do this? I'll never be able to think of Raindrops on Roses without hearing the eeire the-boogie-man-is-coming-to-get-you background music.
I picked this up from Inamorato.

Joy,
I sure do..... I get all these wonderful emails from Paypal that says YOU HAVE CASH! I just love waking up to them.... Since I have started to work with PayPerPost
blog ads as a Blogger it has been a very positive experience. And I just love it that I do not have to ask to get paid.
From the beginning of this month up until the day before Christmas, I should have daily deposits totalling over $100+. In US Funds! And the US dollar is going strong. That means more money for poor little canadian me.
Getting money from PayPerPost is like icing on the cake. It is all going to me. This is my extra cash to play around. I can now get those boots that I have been windowshopping for. Gimme. Gimme. SHOW ME THE MONEY.
Thanks PayPerPost. I luv you all back!

I know I always say bad things about my color choices when it comes to customizing a blog template. And I always say "all that ghastly pink!". Now, I'm going to shamefully eat my words. I redesigned
The Designer Diva into this swanky, artsy blog. In Bright Pink. You got it! I am happy on how it turned out though.
It took me a whole week to find my logo picture. I paid $1.50 for it at
BigStockPhoto. They had a million and one images that I could have run with. But you know me, I've got to sit on it and just keep on re-evaluating the choices until I was down to two. The picture that ended up on the logo is a close up of a portion of a bigger photo. I can't believe I figured out how to crop it in different shapes and put neat squiggles on the corners. The resolution of the picture is awesome and I can't believe I just got it for 2 bucks. So, go check it out. Let me know what you think. It's so very girly.

I am expecting my google revenue to drop because I have moved around my google ads and replaced them with affiliate ads. I am still trying to find the balance because they are both profitable at the same time. Expect to see some juggling of ads around in the next few days.
A cruise travel company has been in touch with me after passing by
Cruise Headlines. They liked what I have done to the site and they want to know if I can set one up for their company. So cool. And so unreal. Because I am new to this blogging business myself. I just really started in June. I am still learning as I go. Just don't tell them I said that. They are booking an appointment for me to meet with the president of the company here in Vancouver. Research. Research. Research. What could they possibly want?
I keep on hitting one milestone after another with
The Bikini Body Diet. I think I might have to contract out the template design for this one. I am not sure yet. Since the record breaking hits on this site, I am now bombarded with requests to advertise on the site. And the way the current template is, there is just no room for any more. I will be putting out a bid on codingforums. If anyone is interested in bidding for the project, please let me know. After the re-design of The Designer Diva, I just know if I designed it myself it's going to be all electric cool aid blue. Craziness.

The time has come for me to look for another car. I mean, I can not expect Lem to drive me around everywhere..... He knows that I have been eyeing an
Audi A3 for awhile now. I think it just fits my personality - small, compact and easy to handle.
I checked out Lemonfree.com's Ebay Listings on
Cars For Sale to see if there were any local sellers in British Columbia. I want a black audi with a low enough mileage from a trusted seller. Surprisingly enough, the search generated some great choices. I can actually start considering and comparing mileage and car history.
Now, I know that when it is time to list my Nissan 240 parked at my sister's basement, I will be going to them for sure.

I had such a great weekend! Had so much fun at Corina's party on Friday. Here are some great drunken moments....

I also reached a milestone on my website venture - my first $1000 Google Revenue day over the weekend! Much luv Google. Much luv!
I learned how to do drinking game - The Century Club. You have to drink 1 beer shooter every minute until you reach 100 shots. Nobody made it. Special mention to Peter who lasted 50!
Lem's been substituting my pop addiction with Cherry Vanilla Coke. It's actually pretty good. Once you've done Cherry Vanilla, you never go back....
I've realized I'm only happy if I am writing about fashion and that's it. Remember that plastic surgery for men that I was stumbling upon - well, my odd sense of humour got the best of me and I ended up calling the article
Is That A New Nose Bob?. Go figure. Crazy Generation, by the way is going to be left alone for awhile. And maybe rebrand it in the future.
I tried downloading IE7 on my computer and my system is not liking it very much. Does anybody else have that kind of problem??
Yeah baby!!!! Paypal sent me a notification that I have money in my account from
PayPerPost. And right on schedule for the Christmas Holidays too! To all the wonderful folks at PayPerPost - you guys rock!!!!
PayPerPost has got to be the best thing that has ever happened to us bloggers. The sign up is very easy and quick. And all you have to do is pick an opportunity to blog about and in 30 days you get paid! So far, I've been paid on one opportunity and I have at least two or three getting paid out every single day as of today.
What can I say... I am a big PayPerPost fan!!!! You would too, if they paid you for doing what you like most - blogging!

First of all, I would really like to thank
That's Fit for picking up an article from
The Bikini Body Diet. This link has led to 50,000 plus visitors and counting within the last 24 hour. You guys rock and I worship and bow at your feet.....
Golbguru at
Money, Matter & More Musings has found a way to capitalize on the holiday gift cards you dont like. Imagine,,,, You dont have to be stuck with a gift card you don't want. Trade it in. Or sell it off. Cool.
PaidPerpost. Ah, this is no paidperpost ad. I just wanted to rant about how to make an internet video???? I want to make a couple of posties and have no clue on how to go about them. I wanted to make a video of me turning into a catfish. Well, that opportunity is now gone and done forever. But I still have another chance to do a video of PPP vs.... Since, I'm not going to produce one on time before the opportunity goes away, here's my idea. Feel free to steal it. Just make sure to send me a link so I can post it up on my blog also. Okay? PPP vs. eminem - bloggers that blog vs. rappers that rap. Go make it. Show me how good it is.....
Kudos to
Wayback Machine. You know how many times I have designed and re-designed my templates since June of this year? Well, to my surprise, Wayback Machine has a record of each template. You can actually see the archive templates from when I first started this blog or my other sites. Ick, all the pink! How could I have?
Those funny folks at PayPerPost just launched Rockstartup.com.
So, how did this get started?

I took The Imaginary Diva out for a spin and tested its placement with all the major search engines. It's very bizarre that either I make it to the top 3 listing or I don't at all.
Top three listing:
www.altavista.com
www.aolsearch.com
www.ask.com
www.google.com
www.jux2.com
www.lycos.com
www.mamma.com
www.msn.com
www.vivisimo.com
www.yahoo.com
www.yurnet.com
www.bloglines.com
www.feedster.com
www.icerocket.com
www.kartoo.com
Never made it to the first page:
www.alltheweb.com
www.entireweb.com
www.gigablast.com
www.bloogz.com
www.findory.com
www.technorati.com
I went back and resubmitted The Imaginary Diva for site crawling to those sites that I didnt make the first page. Hopefully, it will make a difference.
If you are a loyal fan of the Diva, please make sure to mark my site blogs as favourites at
Technorati..... Sure would really appreciate it!
