Being a sci-fi geek, I'm surprised I didnt jumped on the Battlestar Galactica band wagon until a couple of days ago.

I remember watching, I think, Part II of the 3 episode pilot and I didnt understand it one bit. I mean, you miss the first part, you will totally miss the rest of the plot. So, I never kept up with the rest of the pilot and the two seasons that followed it.

A couple of days ago, Lem and I were parked outside my old apartment waiting for the tow truck to come. He had our portable DVD player and the some Battlestar Galactica episodes. Now, I'm hooked. The plot is so thick that if you just look away from the scene, you just might miss something. It's like a good book that you can't just put down after reading the first chapter. And the next chapter. Lemmy collects this series, so I have a lot of DVD's to go through.

Not only is this a fantastic show, it is filmed right here in Vancouver. Go Canucks, Go! The cast is filled with familiar canadian faces, and it's about time they had an awesome asian girl be a part of the sci-fi cult. Grace Park kicks ass.
