The Hilton Hotel lived up to its expectation. We had a king suite with its own separated business center. I was happy as a clam to be indoors on a beautiful day working on the internet.
The times I ventured out for food, the hotel was crawling with all these ice skating competitors. Not sure really which competition was happening but everyone was wearing National Jerseys. We had the US, Canada and Japan staying at the Hilton. They must have very good sponsors to be able to afford that.
There were irate coaches complaining about our Burnaby Taxi system. Which is pretty much non-existent if you were to call during Rush Hour. Hello? Isnt rush hour the same bracket of hours anytime in the world? The coaches were flashing eyes at each other to signify I called this cab - not you. It was very entertaining to say the least.
I have decided that if I have a daughter, she will be taking ice skating lessons. Not for competition. The girls that I bumped to were very classy and had so much poise. And I cant wait to go shopping for those sequine outfits.....
