I had a chance to catch up with my personal life.
I've been moaning and groaning that all I ever do is just sit in front of the computer and work. All summer long.
I tried to take advantage of the great weather we are still having. Took the skytrain to downtown vancouver. Had lunch with some superb folks - Mark and Carrie. And gossiped about everyone else. It turns out that I started a trend - Carrie, Bryan, Sol and Carlos followed the same path out the door. Good for them! I'm so happy that they have decided to take on a lifetime plan. On their career.
I always have to make a mental note to wear comfortable slippers when meeting up with Carrie. If we could possibly walk from downtown to North Vancouver, we probably would. Thank God this time we just ended up at VCC and Chinatown. It was a great leisure six hours on Wednesday.
That was fantastic! I've been very lazy since then. And I've spent my time just looking out the window wondering how other people are spending the time.
Oh, well. Lem even took me out to my favourite salsa joint. Danced a couple of songs. Bumped into some strange, but fun friends. Lem got his pimp juice. And I possibly promised to help someone out with their website.
We just settled to staying home tonight. For us, every night is a Friday night.

be lazy, that's good for the mind from times to times :)
