Up until 6 o'clock this morning (insomnia kicking in again), I never knew what this really meant. I decided to run an html validator on one of my sites. I consider it probably the biggest faux pax I have done this week so far, and, it is only Monday.
It found 100 mark-up errors starting with my html declaration and of course, I was gungho to fix them all. Mark-up errors be gone I say! So, I got reading on articles relating to that, which eventually led me to Google's Webmaster optimization notes that says "clean up your html or the spiders might not come and crawl".
Well, I can honestly say that after 4 hours of reading, trying to understand, and wanting to kick the crazy machine I call the computer, I am still back where I was at 6 o'clock in the morning. A lot of confused codes because HTML 4.01 Transition will not take HTML 4.01 Strict deprecated elements and attributes and HTML 4.01 will not take HTML 4.01 Transition.....
Huh? You say? Exactly.
