Lem and I are interviewing potential manufacturers in China to add to our wholesale division.

For the last hour, I have spent negotiating on line with a lingerie manufacturer who just keeps on changing my minimum quantities, and adding additional tooling charges. By the time we were done, a lingerie that costed $1.95 per piece is now costing $3.85 US per piece landed in Canada. Still not a very good deal if I have to buy 2000 pcs minimum. We will probably not go with them. The rep had problems communicating.

Usually, I ask questions to see if they have ever been to the US or Canada. If they say no, then there could possibly be some language communication in the future. Most of the reps we currently deal with now have gone to North America for schooling. And their grasp for the English language is very good.

Wish me luck, I have more to go through in the next week. I might just be ready to pull my hair out by then.
