I was surfing through YouTube for anything interesting to liven up this dull blog, and I knew there was something different about their advertisement layout.

At first glance, the standard 728x and 160x Google Ads that I'm used to seeing are no longer there. I searched the message boards and forums, and there has been talk of the missing Google Adsense as far back as middle of August. Still intent on finding a video for my personal blog, I finally found some Google Ads.
It looks like YouTube is experimenting with affiliate advertising and have changed most of their high traffic pages over. Could they have decided that affiliate advertising will have a better monetary gain?
